Design & Fabrication

  • Individual Xbox components were bought (Motherboard, DVD Drive, Power and Sync Buttons, Power Supply, Fans, Heat Sink) and then modified i.e. flashed and connected using ribbon cables

  • The components were then arranged in a modified metal carrying case 

  • A MDF board was designed and cut to allow for access to necessary buttons along with a Plexiglas screen to protect the LCD

  • The LCD, Xbox power supply, and fans were soldered together and connected to a standard desktop power cord adapter as to allow the system to be powered via a single cable
